enabling Valdez to counter with a crisp jab.

Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Valdez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Valdez counter with a right hand.
It looks like John Jones has been cut.
Valdez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones misses with a shot to the body
and Valdez counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Jones! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Valdez!
