Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Ferreira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azamat Dzhailaulov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pablo Ferreira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Azamat Dzhailaulov!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferreira takes a kick to the side of the head.
Dzhailaulov throws a head kick that misses
and Ferreira cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ferreira on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dzhailaulov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ferreira has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ferreira ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ferreira no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Ferreira wriggles free and stands up.
Ferreira shoots in looking for a takedown. Dzhailaulov tries to sprawl out of it but Ferreira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dzhailaulov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dzhailaulov looks to clinch
and Ferreira counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dzhailaulov won't be happy with that.
Dzhailaulov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ferreira. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dzhailaulov gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Ferreira misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ferreira will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ferreira with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Ferreira content just to control the position here.
Ferreira is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Ferreira extends the arm and Dzhailaulov is forced to tap!
