The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McAllister tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chiba was well out of range. Poor timing from McAllister.
McAllister throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McAllister misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Chiba has his takedown stuffed
and McAllister counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by McAllister.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McAllister wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Chiba gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from McAllister.
Chiba goes for a takedown in the clinch but McAllister prevents it.
McAllister pulls guard successfully.
McAllister is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Chiba frees his head nicely. Oh but McAllister has switched to an armbar! Chiba is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
