Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, John Giles!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giles moves into the clinch successfully.
Giles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Giles throws a head kick but Magalesh moves out of range.
Magalesh with a poor takedown
enabling Giles to counter with a crisp jab.
Magalesh shoots and misses
and Giles counters by moving into the clinch.
Giles landing knees to the body.
Giles breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Magalesh doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Giles counters with a low kick, right behind Magalesh 's knee.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rob Magalesh. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Magalesh is breathing heavily.
Magalesh takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oooooh!!! Giles has knocked Magalesh down with a huge combo! Giles steps away and waves a wobbly Magalesh back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Magalesh is rocked!
It looks like Rob Magalesh has been cut.
Giles scores with a push kick.
Oh Magalesh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Giles tries a head kick but it misses.
Magalesh seems to have got his legs back now.
Giles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Giles lands with a right and another and another! Magalesh is in big trouble! Giles lands again and this time it's lights out for Magalesh! A quality knockout there for Giles.
