Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between New Yorker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kayke Polisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polisher has chosen Lonely Day----SOAD as his entrance music. The key to victory for New Yorker has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polisher sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Yorker throws a front kick that sends Polisher stumbling back into the ropes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yorker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Yorker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Polisher. That did some damage!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Polisher has control of Yorker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Yorker regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Polisher wants to control the pace but Yorker is squirming around nicely.

Polisher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Yorker sprawls well initially but Polisher persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Yorker has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Polisher is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Yorker.

Polisher has hold of Yorker's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yorker tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Polisher cranks the arm and Yorker screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yorker, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
