Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Baravski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baravski has chosen Punch Out as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Igor Baravski enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackie Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Igor Baravski!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johnson gets a takedown into half guard.

Johnson wants to work for an arm triangle but Baravski is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baravski can do anything to dispel that myth.

Baravski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Johnson defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
