Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Umberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Umberto comes to the cage accompanied by Perry Como - Magic Moments. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roberto Umberto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tony Stark!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark thows a left - swing and a miss!
Umberto with a poor takedown
and Umberto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stark throws a big shot that misses.

Umberto shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Umberto is thwarting Stark's attempts to control the position.
Stark actively working from the bottom here.
Umberto seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stark does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Stark wants to control but Umberto is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Umberto is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stark defends it well.

Umberto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Stark doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Umberto.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Umberto wants to pass the guard but Stark is keeping the position.
Umberto trying to control but Stark is working from the bottom.
Umberto wants to get up but he can't break Stark's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Umberto with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Umberto stands and throws Stark's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Umberto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Umberto sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Stark is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Umberto wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stark keeps working.

Stark gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Umberto is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Umberto seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Stark for as long as he can get away with.
Stark is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Umberto throwing shots but Stark is blocking nicely.

Umberto stands up over Stark, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Umberto closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Stark quickly recovers to half guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Umberto tries for a takedown but Stark circles away easily
enabling Stark to counter with a crisp jab.
Stark throws a looping overhand right but Umberto ducks down to avoid it.
Umberto throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Umberto shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stark counters with a nice uppercut.
Umberto throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stark was covering up waiting for the punch and Umberto finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Stark has his foot on Umberto's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Umberto works his way back into a safe position though.
Stark controls Umberto momentarily but Umberto frees himself.
Stark seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Umberto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stark manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Umberto has Stark in his guard.

Umberto isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stark stacks Umberto on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stark!
Stark is chipping away with strikes.
Stark lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Umberto down.
Stark in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Umberto can't do much from the bottom here.
Stark is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Umberto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stark takes a little break here. Umberto wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Stark tries to score with some ground and pound. Umberto controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Stark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Umberto keeps working.

Stark tries to pass the half guard into mount. Umberto knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Stark is trying to control the action in half guard but Umberto is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Tony Stark showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Umberto has control of Stark's left arm, preventing Stark from doing any damage.
Stark wants to control from the top but Umberto keeps moving.

Umberto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stark is one step ahead there.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Stark pushes down on Umberto's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Umberto is staying active underneath Stark, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Stark might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Umberto kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Stark takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Umberto is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Umberto is looking to improve his position but Stark isn't that keen on the idea.
Stark looking to control but Umberto is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Stark prevents Umberto from getting the reversal.

Stark goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Umberto turns into him and now he's in Stark's guard.
Umberto wants to stand but Stark is controlling his posture from full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Umberto cracks Stark with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Stark manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Umberto tries to get to full guard but Stark has control of the leg.
Stark thows a huge punch but Umberto dodges it nicely.
Umberto is looking for a sweep. Stark is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that's the end of the fight!
Tony Stark comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stark has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
