Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob McGrady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nahka Vitonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGrady comes to the cage accompanied by Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child. Vitonen has chosen Klamydia - Junttihinttirunkkari as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Nahka Vitonen enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrady takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Bob McGrady has been cut.
Vitonen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on McGrady. That did some damage!
Vitonen lands with a hook. McGrady tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Vitonen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGrady gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vitonen.
Vitonen connects with the punch.
Vitonen takes a swing at McGrady's ribcage but misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The fighters circling - Vitonen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

McGrady fails with the takedown
and Vitonen counters with a nice body shot.

Nahka Vitonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McGrady is breathing heavily.
McGrady slips under a jab.

Vitonen misses with the combination.
McGrady shoots in looking for a takedown but Vitonen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McGrady's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Vitonen throws a body punch but McGrady moves out of range.
McGrady tries to move into range but Vitonen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and McGrady counters with a nice double leg into side control. Vitonen won't be happy with that.

Vitonen is looking to regain half guard here but McGrady keeps moving and retains side control.

Vitonen tries to improve position but can't.
Vitonen has one of McGrady's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
McGrady trying to control the action but Vitonen is working from the bottom.
McGrady laying and praying for a moment but Vitonen takes advantage and regains half guard.

McGrady looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vitonen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Vitonen pulls McGrady in close to prevent any damage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Vitonen throws an ugly left hook that misses

and McGrady counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vitonen's guard now.
Vitonen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Vitonen keeping moving, preventing McGrady from controlling successfully.
McGrady postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McGrady passes Vitonen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Vitonen has hold of McGrady's hands but McGrady slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vitonen is trying to control but can't.
Vitonen is looking for a sweep. McGrady is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Vitonen is in trouble now - McGrady has advanced to mount!

Vitonen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Vitonen pulls McGrady in close to prevent any damage.
McGrady is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
McGrady slips nicely into half guard.

Vitonen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McGrady is working away from the top position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Vitonen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vitonen is on top in guard.

McGrady throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
McGrady wants to sweep but no luck.
McGrady has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Vitonen has passed into side control.
McGrady is not content to let Vitonen control the position.
