The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Giel wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Parker misses with an uppercut
and Giel counters with a three punch combo that has Parker backing up. Parker nods at Giel to acknowledge the strikes.
Parker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Giel as he avoids it easily.
Parker moves to clinch but Giel breaks away
and Giel counters with a nice body shot.
Parker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
