Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dixon comes to the cage accompanied by Seek & Destroy. Bader has chosen This Is War as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ken Bader has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Dixon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ken Bader! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dixon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Bader wants to control but Dixon is keeping busy and won't allow it. Dixon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bader keeps working. Dixon trying to pass the guard but Bader defending well. Bader tries to get to full guard but Dixon has control of the leg. Dixon tries to pass to full mount but Bader defends it. Bader is looking for a sweep. Dixon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dixon wants to free his trapped foot but Bader is holding on for dear life with his legs. Dixon is working for a kimura but Bader is defending it quite comfortably.
Dixon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bader on the ground. Dixon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bader doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dixon. Bader is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dixon pulls his head out easily.

Dixon prevents Bader from improving his position. Nice strikes from Dixon there. Dixon trying to pass the guard but Bader defending well. Bader gets full guard. Bader working a defensive guard here.
Bader is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dixon is aware though and is defending well. Bader is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dixon is controlling him. Dixon is looking to work some ground and pound but Bader has wrist control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ken Bader hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Dixon closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dixon lands in his opponent's guard. Dixon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

He catches Bader napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bader prevents Dixon from moving into mount. Dixon fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dixon throws a strike aimed at the side of Bader's head but Bader avoids it well. Dixon is breathing heavily. Bader manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bader gets back to full guard.
Bader is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bader is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dixon sees it coming and defends easily. Dixon is refusing to be controlled, as Bader sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Dixon dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bader bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Bader showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dixon.

and Dixon counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dixon. A head punch on the inside from Bader fails to land. Bader is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Dixon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Dixon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bader ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bader lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Bader fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Dixon throws a series of punches but Bader avoids them all with ease. The fight stays on the outside here - Bader looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bader connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Danga de danga de dang - Bader scores with a four punch combination! Dixon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Anthony Dixon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bader scores with a one two! Dixon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Bader gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dixon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bader looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dixon is one step ahead there. Dixon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dixon stops Bader from standing up. Dixon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bader swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dixon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dixon is in close to Bader's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bader wants to get back to his feet but Dixon is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dixon stopping the sweep attempt from Bader. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Dixon wants to pass the guard but Bader is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bader looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Dixon is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bader manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bader trying to control but Dixon is having none of it. Bader is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Bader trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dixon has given up his back. Will we see Bader going for some submissions?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dixon holding on to Bader's left wrist, preventing the choke. Bader is trying to control but Dixon is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Dixon is squirming around, avoiding Bader's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bader takes Dixon's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Dixon is in trouble. Bader is looking to control Dixon but Dixon is wriggling around and keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ken Bader will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Bader throws a combination. Dixon tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Dixon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bader napping and manages to drive through into side control! Bader is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Bader is trying to control Dixon's posture but Dixon avoids it. Bader tries to buck Dixon off but Dixon is having none of it. Anthony Dixon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bader can't do much from the bottom here. Dixon tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The ground and pound from Dixon seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Dixon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bader is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Bader manages to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bader is pressing down on Dixon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Bader has his foot on Dixon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dixon works his way back into a safe position though. Bader is trying to keep Dixon in close.
Bader takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bader avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bader is looking for a triangle but Dixon pushes his legs off easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dixon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dixon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bader tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bader trying to keep a closed guard but Dixon is proving a slippery customer.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bader preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Dixon working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Dixon landing some decent shots from guard. Dixon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
