Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Roshan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dynamite Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon has chosen Fear is Our Tradition by Ignite as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon throws a nice looking combination but Roshan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nixon misses with a hook to the body
and Roshan counters with a straight right hand.
Nixon blocks the body kick.
Nixon looks to score with a jab to the body but Roshan is just out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nixon. Roshan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Roshan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nixon swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Roshan counters with a left to the body.

and Nixon counters with a takedown into side control.
Nixon is looking to take a break and control but Roshan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Roshan is looking for a sweep.
Roshan manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Roshan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Roshan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Nixon won't allow Roshan to pass to mount.
Roshan stalling away here and it's allowed Nixon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Roshan wants to control from the top but Nixon keeps moving.

Roshan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Nixon is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Roshan, into his guard.
Nixon wants to pass the guard but Roshan is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Damian Roshan just wasn't active enough.
No joy there for Roshan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Roshan lands with a kick to the ribs.
Roshan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Nixon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Nixon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Roshan is staying active underneath Nixon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Roshan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nixon scores with a couple of nice shots.
Roshan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dynamite Nixon dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nixon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Roshan swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Roshan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Roshan goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nixon is on top in guard.
Nixon is stalling in the full guard.
Roshan throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Roshan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nixon off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Nixon throws a right and a left that Roshan avoids nicely.
Nixon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Nixon is looking to clinch.
Nixon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Roshan throws out the jab.
Nixon wants to land a leg kick but Roshan is out of range.
A punch combination from Roshan misses.
Roshan misses with a body shot
and Roshan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Roshan closes the distance and clinches up with Nixon, looking for a takedown. Roshan pushes Nixon against the cage but Nixon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Nixon counters with a nice body shot.

and Nixon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

A right handed body shot lands from Nixon.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nixon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Roshan blocking some punches.
Nixon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Roshan pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nixon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Roshan.
Nixon swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Nixon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Roshan tries for a takedown but Nixon circles away easily
and Nixon counters by clinching up.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Roshan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nixon fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Nixon keeps control of Roshan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Nixon lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Roshan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Nixon has him pressed against the cage.
Roshan misses with an elbow strike.
Nixon misses with some punches.
Roshan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Roshan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nixon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Roshan.
Roshan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Roshan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Roshan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dynamite Nixon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Roshan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Nixon wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Nixon passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Roshan!
Roshan manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Roshan looking for subs from the bottom but Nixon mounts him!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Roshan tries to hold on but Nixon postures up.
Roshan takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nixon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Roshan is looking to get to half guard.
Roshan is bucking up trying to escape but Nixon cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Roshan is looking to improve his position.

Nixon wants to take a breather but Roshan is having none of it.

Dynamite Nixon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
