Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Austin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Luke Johnson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Austin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Austin defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand. Austin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Austin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Johnson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Austin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Austin pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet. Johnson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Austin! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson thowing shots but they're missing. Austin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Austin tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Austin is looking to get to half guard. Austin is controlling an arm, preventing Johnson from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Johnson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Austin is looking to escape. Austin stops Johnson from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Johnson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Austin is surviving well by controlling Johnson's body position as best he can. Johnson jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Austin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Austin and Johnson has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Johnson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Austin's legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Johnson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Austin gets caught flat footed, as Johnson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Austin is trying to control the position but Johnson postures up. Austin keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson passes into half guard. Austin trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Johnson manages to pass to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson trying to control but Austin is having none of it. Austin is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea. Austin prevents Johnson from taking his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Austin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Johnson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Austin is trying to control but can't.
Austin tries to get to full guard but Johnson has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Johnson passes to side control. Austin tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Johnson wants to control but Austin is keeping him busy. Austin is trying to get back to half guard. Johnson moves into full mount! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnson moves to the back position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luke Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Johnson gets a takedown into half guard. Austin is looking to control Johnson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Austin avoid being mounted? Austin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground. Johnson wants to take a breather but Austin is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Austin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Johnson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin is in trouble now - Johnson has advanced to mount! Austin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Johnson wants to take Austin's back here but Austin is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Johnson prevents Austin from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johnson looking to control but Austin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Austin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Austin keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson is trying to work for a kimura but Austin is defending well.
Johnson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Austin! Steve Austin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Austin can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Johnson tries to control but Austin wriggling away. Austin is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Johnson has taken his back.
Austin defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Johnson's arms. Johnson is hanging on to Austin's back as he tries to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Johnson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
