Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Mordor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrick Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Mordor! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Davis scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Mordor is trying to get back to half guard. Mordor manages to work his way to half guard, despite Davis's best efforts. Mordor trying to hold on to Davis's head to control him but Davis postures up.
Mordor tries to get to full guard but Davis has control of the leg. Davis prevents Mordor from standing back up.

It looks like Davis is going to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis is looking to advance position but Mordor won't allow it. Mordor is staying active underneath Davis, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Davis is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Mordor reverses the position - he's now on top in Davis's guard. Mordor trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Mordor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mordor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mordor on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mordor won't allow Davis to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mordor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mordor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Mordor trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Davis is breathing heavily. Davis controlling the position. Mordor content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mordor wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving. Mordor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mordor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Davis trying to keep a closed guard but Mordor is proving a slippery customer.
Mordor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mordor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mordor's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mordor trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Mordor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davis works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mordor trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mordor stands up from guard. Let's bang! Davis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mordor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mordor closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mordor lands in his opponent's guard. Davis keeping moving, preventing Mordor from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Max Mordor will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Davis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mordor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A solid leg kick lands there for Davis.
Mordor looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Mordor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mordor drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Mordor as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Davis screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Mordor! Nice submission victory there!
