The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Balboa counter with a right hand.
Balboa pushes Jones up against the cage in a clinch.
Balboa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Balboa holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jones drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Balboa counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Balboa is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Jones is in trouble now - Balboa has advanced to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Balboa cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Balboa is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Balboa on the ground.

Balboa quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Balboa but it's paid off an Jones is forced to tap! Nice work by Balboa.
