Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jp Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandan Kirwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Benn might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Icarus by Hopesfall. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirwan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Benn doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kirwan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Benn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kirwan to the mat. Kirwan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Kirwan tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kirwan is pulling down on Benn's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Benn looking to sit in guard and control but Kirwan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kirwan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Benn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kirwan manages to get himself to full guard.

Kirwan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Benn, who protects the arm well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kirwan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Benn has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Benn!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Benn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kirwan has his feet on Benn's thighs here. He's pushed Benn off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Benn screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
