Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacque Strap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Thunder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy Thunder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunder is looking to clinch but Strap is avoiding it.
Strap throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Strap blocks the body kick.
Thunder throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Thunder avoids the head kick by Strap.
Thunder moves in looking to clinch but Strap pushes him off.
Thunder misses with a wild body shot.
Thunder shoots for a double leg takedown but Strap sprawls well. He's pushed Thunder's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Strap steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thunder.
Thunder gets a takedown into half guard.
Thunder is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Strap doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thunder.

Strap fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Thunder, pushing him back against the cage.
Strap lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Strap breaks the clinch.
Strap swats away the attempt to clinch by Thunder.
Thunder misses with a hook. Strap ducked under it nicely.

Strap gets caught flat footed, as Thunder shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Thunder is keen to just control but Strap is a slippery customer.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jacque Strap showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Thunder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Thunder sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Strap is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Thunder tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Thunder is trying to ground and pound but Strap uses the momentary lack of control by Thunder to regain half guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tommy Thunder.
I think Thunder has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
