Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pacman Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Minard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. The crowd seem to be enjoying Minard's choice of entrance music: I Against I. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Minard!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minard fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Barnes lands a really nice looking cross but Minard seems unphased.

Barnes tries to buck Minard off but Minard is having none of it.

Minard is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Barnes has escaped the position, nice work there.
Barnes is trying to improve his position.
Barnes manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Barnes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Minard on the ground.
Barnes looks like he's trying to stand up.
Barnes trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Minard seems to be looking for submissions.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Minard is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Barnes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Barnes shrugs it off.

Anderson Minard showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
