Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Dokken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Morton!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dokken shoots and misses
and Morton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Dokken enables Morton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dokken manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Morton stands and steps away. Dokken gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dokken falls off balance throwing a combination
and Morton counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dokken wants to sweep here but Morton controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Morton's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morton passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Dokken is trying to buck Morton off.
Morton has an Americana. Dokken didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Morton is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Morton hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mark Morton!
