Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zhang Liao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Junior Dos Santos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos misses with a hook to the body

and Liao moves into the clinch.

Liao turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Dos Santos is looking for a sweep.
Dos Santos manages to work his way to half guard, despite Liao's best efforts.
Liao uses his free foot to push down on Dos Santos's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dos Santos.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dos Santos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Liao wants to free his trapped foot but Dos Santos is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Dos Santos tries to get to full guard but Liao has control of the leg.

Liao has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Dos Santos defend it? Liao steps over the head and cranks it - Dos Santos is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Liao!
