Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paha SIka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heikki Kuula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuula has chosen Heikki Kuula - Sun Nimi On Kuula as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paha SIka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Heikki Kuula! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Kuula. Kuula darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. SIka blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kuula. Kuula throws a strike but SIka avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Kuula stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. SIka swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kuula wants to control from the top but SIka keeps moving. Kuula looking to pass the guard. Kuula with a flurry of punches that miss. SIka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuula trying to control the position from guard on top but SIka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kuula wants to pass the guard but SIka is keeping the position. Kuula stays in close to SIka's body and controls the position. Kuula postures up in SIka's guard and throws a big left but SIka blocks it. SIka is looking to stand up but Kuula isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A low kick from Kuula misses and SIka makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. SIka stuffs the takedown attempt from Kuula. Kuula gets slowly back to his feet. SIka uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kuula.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kuula pushes SIka up against the cage in a clinch. Kuula drops down looking for an ankle pick but SIka pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kuula tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but SIka swivels and escapes. Paha SIka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heikki Kuula. Kuula shoots in looking for a takedown but SIka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kuula's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. SIka misses with a leg kick and Kuula counters with a nice double leg into side control. SIka won't be happy with that. SIka tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You get the feeling that SIka really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Kuula landing shots from mount. SIka is squirming around, avoiding Kuula's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Kuula. Kuula postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. SIka looks a forlorn figure.
SIka really wants to buck Kuula off and get back to his feet. Kuula looking to control and managing it successfully. Kuula throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Kuula jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but SIka manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kuula working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. SIka knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuula on the ground. Kuula is looking to take a break and control but SIka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kuula lands a nice forearm strike. Kuula working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kuula lands a decent elbow from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Kuula tries to move into full mount but can't pass SIka's legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heikki Kuula dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
SIka throws a body punch but Kuula moves out of range. Kuula pulls out of a head kick attempt.
SIka takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Kuula missing with a left hand there. SIka was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. SIka connects with a leg kick. Kuula looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kuula catches SIka with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Kuula feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits SIkas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Paha SIka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kuula works SIka's body with a nice hook. A big right from SIka misses. Kuula dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on SIka. That did some damage! A jab from Kuula misses. Kuula tries to work over SIka's front leg with a kick but SIka checks it. Kuula changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. SIka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kuula thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. SIka wants to get back to his feet but Kuula drags him back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuula tries to score with some ground and pound. SIka controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Kuula tries to advance to mount but SIka denies him. Kuula wants to control but SIka is keeping him busy. Kuula working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. SIka wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuula throws a strike aimed at the side of SIka's head but SIka avoids it well. Kuula tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Kuula throwing strikes but missing, from side control. SIka is pushing Kuula's head away, looking to escape. Kuula manages to hold on to the position though. Kuula laying and praying for a moment but SIka takes advantage and regains half guard. SIka is staying active underneath Kuula, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Kuula is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Heikki Kuula has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Kuula moves nicely into side control. SIka avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kuula. Kuula misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Kuula trying to control the position but SIka is working away. SIka takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Kuula takes a little break here. SIka wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heikki Kuula showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
A kick lands to the mid section there for SIka. Kuula throws a leg kick and SIka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A solid body kick from SIka. Kuula walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. SIka instigates a clinch. Kuula wants to break the clinch but can't.
SIka stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kuula swings away with an uppercut that misses.

SIka works on Kuula's body with a couple of short punches. SIka pushes Kuula back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kuula on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kuula takes an elbow to the forehead. SIka lands a body punch in the clinch. SIka lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Kuula takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. SIka landing knees to the body.
SIka scores with a nice hook to the head. SIka lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Heikki Kuula has been cut. A left hand lands to the body for SIka.

That's one minute gone in the round. SIka lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. SIka cracks Kuula with a nice body shot. A shot in the inside from SIka. SIka lands with a short punch from the clinch.
SIka scores with a shoulder strike. SIka lands with a left to the head. A short right from SIka on the inside. SIka lands a body shot. SIka lands an elbow that stopped Kuula in his tracks for a moment. SIka lands with a left to the head. SIka lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kuula or not. SIka landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

SIka lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. SIka lands an elbow inside that Kuula shrugs off. Kuula fails to pull guard.

SIka misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kuula.
Kuula pulls guard effortlessly. Kuula manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. SIka manages to get himself to full guard.
SIka is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kuula is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kuula forces his way into half guard. SIka is not content to let Kuula control the position. SIka wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Kuula thows a huge punch but SIka dodges it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kuula scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kuula is trying to control. SIka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kuula has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kuula takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. SIka is refusing to be controlled, as Kuula sits in half guard. Kuula looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Heikki Kuula is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kuula's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Heikki Kuula. A solid leg kick lands there for Kuula.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kuula waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract SIka. Paha SIka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kuula throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kuula dives in and grabs SIka's left leg, looking for a takedown. SIka pushes down on Kuula's head and hops out. SIka connects with a leg kick. Kuula looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kuula throws a head kick that SIka semi-blocks.
SIka scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Kuula lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kuula. Kuula misses with an attempted head punch from side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. SIka wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. SIka strikes from the bottom but Kuula takes advantage and advances to full mount!
And that's the end of the fight! Paha SIka showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kuula has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
