These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Czech ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Evans moves away.

Oooh a lovely combination from Evans sends Czech down but not out. Evans dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Peter Czech has been cut.
Czech is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Evans drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Evans jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Czech throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Evans shoots in looking for a takedown but Czech manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Evans's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
