Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Witsanu Tanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Chapel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tanabe comes to the cage accompanied by Grew Up a Screw Up- Ludacris. Trent Chapel has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chapel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Tanabe is fending him off so far but Chapel persists. Nope, Tanabe circles away and we're back to standing.
Tanabe doesn't manage to clinch there - Chapel circles away.

Chapel fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tanabe dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chapel. That did some damage!

Chapel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chapel is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tanabe is just riding it out for now. Chapel eventually gives up the hold.

Chapel jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tanabe is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tanabe and Chapel has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
