Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Julian Bashir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggs Wafers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wafers has chosen PrideFC as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Julian Bashir has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Julian Bashir! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Biggs Wafers! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bashir scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bashir ducks down and throws a hook to the body. No joy there for Bashir, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wafers tries to work over Bashir's front leg with a kick but Bashir checks it. Bashir throws a right hand that Wafers ducks under and follows up with a left that Wafers also avoids with ease. Bashir swings away with a body shot that misses
and Wafers counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bashir! Wafers sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bashir is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bashir is squirming around, avoiding Wafers's attempts to control the action. Wafers postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bashir looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wafers throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bashir because Wafers loaded up on that one. Bashir wants to hold on but Wafers pushes him away. Wafers wants to control the pace but Bashir is squirming around nicely. Wafers throwing strikes here but Bashir is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wafers lands a big elbow. Bashir is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wafers thowing shots but they're missing. Bashir wants to control but Wafers is having none of it. Wafers trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bashir regains half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bashir won't allow Wafers to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Biggs Wafers dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bashir throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wafers looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bashir throws a right hand that misses
so Wafers counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wafers trying to control but Bashir is working from the bottom. Bashir manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wafers manages to get himself to full guard.
Wafers wants to stand and escape but Bashir is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wafers manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bashir holds on for dear life, controlling Wafers's posture momentarily. Wafers prevents Bashir from getting the reversal. Bashir blocking the ground and pound. Wafers misses with some ground and pound and Bashir recovers position to half guard. Wafers trying to mount his opponent but Bashir defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wafers throwing shots but Bashir is blocking nicely. Bashir is trying to get back to full guard. Bashir looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wafers wants to free his trapped foot but Bashir is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wafers throwing shots but Bashir is blocking nicely. Wafers throwing shots but Bashir is blocking nicely. Wafers takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wafers missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wafers content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Wafers is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Wafers with the ground and pound from mount. Bashir is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bashir taking shots to the head. Bashir avoids a strike by Wafers and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Wafers's guard! Fantastic escape!
Wafers is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bashir dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bashir stands up. Bashir throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wafers counters with a two punch combo. Bashir throws a right and a left that Wafers avoids nicely. Wafers is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Bashir. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Biggs Wafers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bashir throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Julian Bashir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bashir's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bashir duly obliges. Bashir is looking to wear down Wafers with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slow jab from Bashir misses its intended target. Bashir missing with a left hand there. Wafers was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bashir works Wafers's body with a nice hook. Wafers misses with a straight right. Bashir lands with a nice body punch. Bashir misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wafers avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bashir moves into range and connects with a jab. Bashir scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wafers decides to stand back up. Wafers steps back and let's Bashir get back to his feet. Bashir rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wafers moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wafers misses with a double jab
letting Bashir counter with a right hand. Wafers shoots in but no luck this time. Julian Bashir has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Julian Bashir is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bashir throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wafers.
And that's the end of the fight! Julian Bashir showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wafers has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
