The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Najami closes the distance and pushes Lewis back into the cage.
Lewis tries to stall but Najami uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Najami gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Najami takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Najami is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lewis doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Najami.
Lewis wants to get back to his feet.
Najami wants to pass to mount but Lewis is defending the position.
Lewis is trying to stand up here but Najami is controlling him well.
Najami stalling.
Lewis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Najami. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Lewis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Lewis is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Najami has taken his back.
