Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mark Hughes was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
17 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Augustus Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cole walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hughes checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Hughes checks the leg kick nicely there.
Donk. Hughes catches Cole right on the button with a cross.
Hughes lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Augustus Cole has been cut.
Hughes lunges at Cole with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cole's hand.
Cole keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hughes.
Cole has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hughes finds it's way round the side to connect with Cole's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cole slips under a jab.
Hughes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Cole throws a looping overhand right but Hughes ducks down to avoid it.
Cole blocks a jab.
Hughes takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Cole tries to work over Hughes's front leg with a kick but Hughes checks it.
Hughes misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Cole to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice straight punches there by Hughes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hughes.
Cole shoots for a takedown but Hughes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hughes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hughes lands a glancing blow to the side of Cole's head.
Hughes swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Cole counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hughes connects with a nice looking jab.
Cole ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cole does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hughes throws a hook but Cole blocks it.
Hughes looks to land a right hand but Cole moved out of range.
Cole misses with a right hand
and Hughes counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Cole has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hughes finds it's way round the side to connect with Cole's head.
Hughes misses with a wild body shot.
Hughes stuns Cole with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cole is breathing heavily.
Hughes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hughes throws a hook but Cole avoids it easily.
Hughes throws a good cross that connects.
Hughes darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Cole keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Hughes.
Hughes bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cole's head backwards.
Hughes scores with a shot to the body.
Mark Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hughes swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hughes scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hughes feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Cole crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
