Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bret Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasemchai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hill comes to the cage accompanied by Wanted Dead Or Alive by Bon Jovi. Kasemchai Fairtex will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fairtex drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Hill takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hill cracks Fairtex with a good jab.
Hill tries for a takedown but Fairtex sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fairtex throws a sloppy head kick and Hill moves out of range easily.
Hill checks the leg kick.
Hill takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Fairtex rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Hill counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hill not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Fairtex is trying to get back to full guard.

Hill is working for a submission of some sort.

Hill is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fairtex defends it well.
Fairtex avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hill.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hill throwing shots but Fairtex is blocking nicely.
Hill is nestled in close to Fairtex, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Fairtex holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Hill is working for a kimura but Fairtex is defending it quite comfortably.

Fairtex is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Hill is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Hill has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fairtex defend it? Hill steps over the head and cranks it - Fairtex is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hill!
