Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alex Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre comes into the arena with Memories- Guetta blaring out of the sound system. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Andre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Ivan Ko!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andre throws a hook but Ko avoids it easily.
Andre ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ko works the jab nicely.
Andre staying out of range there.
Andre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ko was well out of range. Poor timing from Andre.
Ko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ko misses with an uppercut
and Andre counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Andre just misses with a punch to the body.
Ko misses with a looping right.
Andre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ko throws out the jab.
Andre throws a body punch but Ko moves out of range.
Ko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Some bone on bone action there as Ko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
No joy there for Andre, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Andre tries a head kick but it misses.
Ko throws a left and a right that both miss
and Andre connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ko misses with a combination
and Andre counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ko's knee momentarily.
Andre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ko lands a nice shot that snaps Andre's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ko throws an off balance right hand
letting Andre counter with a right hand.
Ko getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ko swats away the attempt to clinch by Andre.
A slow jab from Andre misses its intended target.
Andre lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Andre swings widly with a right hand
and Ko counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Ko missing with a left hand there. Andre was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A shot to the liver by Andre. Beautiful body shot.

Andre throws a hook but Ko avoids it easily.

and Andre counters with a nice body shot.
Andre tries a head kick but it misses.
Andre throws a leg kick but Ko moved away.
Andre throws a front kick aimed at Ko's knee but Ko avoids it well.
Andre lands a nice looking kick to the body. Ko takes a step back to recover.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Andre.
A looping hook to the body misses from Andre. Ko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ko works the jab nicely.
Andre misses the body punch
and Ko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Andre misses with a left hand
and Ko counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Andre lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ko lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Andre backs up against the cage.
Andre tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ko paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alex Andre dominated that round.

and Ko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ko throws a right hand that Andre ducks under and follows up with a left that Andre also avoids with ease.

and Ko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Andre thinking.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Andre - that will leave a mark!
Ko scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Andre doesn't seem bothered though.

and Andre takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ko throws a hook but Andre avoids it easily.
Ko slips a jab from Andre.

Ko throws a shot from downtown. Andre moves away and avoids it.
Andre avoids a punch combination nicely.
Andre motions for Ko to come forward. Andre throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Andre walks into a left hand.
Andre rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ko counters with a one-two to the body.
Ko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Andre misses with a hook
and Ko counters with a two punch combo.
Ko scores with a punch to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ko smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Andre will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Andre scores with a nice right hand.
Ko lands a slapping body shot.
Ko bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Andre misses with a body shot.

and Ko counters with a left and a right... And another left! Andre is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
