Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Paulson! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Clipse! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paulson blocks a head kick by Clipse.
Paulson lands a really nice looking cross but Clipse seems unphased.

and Clipse counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Paulson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Clipse tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

and Clipse counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Paulson is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Paulson is rocked! Clipse closes the distance and clinches. Paulson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Clipse has him pressed against the cage. Paulson avoids the elbow strike from Clipse, against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clipse moves into the clinch successfully.

Clipse stalls. Clipse lands a good knee to the midsection. Paulson won't want to take too many of those. Clipse keeps control of Paulson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Paulson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Robert Paulson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Paulson throws a right hand that Clipse ducks under and follows up with a left that Clipse also avoids with ease. Paulson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Clipse tries to clinch but Paulson is having none of it. Clipse feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Paulson's calf. Clipse misses with a looping right. Paulson circles away from the clinch attempt and Paulson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paulson misses with an uppercut
and Clipse counters with a stiff right hand. Clipse closes the distance looking to clinch and Paulson counters with a stiff right hand. Paulson looks to land a left hand but Clipse moved out of range nicely. Clipse slips under a jab from Paulson. Paulson misses with a left hand and Clipse counters into the clinch. Nicely done. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Clipse will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Paulson up against the cage. Clipse continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Paulson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Clipse dominated that round. The cut man is working on Robert Paulson's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Paulson misses with a wild body shot. Paulson swats away the attempt to clinch by Clipse. Paulson throws a lazy uppercut
and Clipse counters by clinching up. Clipse using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Paulson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Clipse has Paulson pressed against the cage, preventing Paulson from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Clipse lands a hook that snaps the head of Paulson backwards. Clipse lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Paulson takes an elbow to the temple. Paulson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Paulson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paul Clipse is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Clipse wants to clinch and Paulson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Clipse thinking. Paulson throws a right hand that misses
and Clipse holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Clipse scores with an uppercut up the middle. Paulson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Clipse in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Clipse lands a knee to the head.
Clipse lands a left hand that snaps the head of Paulson backwards. Oh Paulson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Clipse comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Clipse lands an elbow inside that Paulson shrugs off. Clipse scores with a shot to the side of Paulson's head. Clipse creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Paulson! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Clipse.
