Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scuba Stevess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scuba Stevess! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Javier Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevess sends Hernandez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Stevess is motioning to the referee to let Hernandez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Hernandez is rocked! A combination from Stevess does no damage. Hernandez is still on wobbly legs! Can Stevess finish him? Stevess throws a leg kick but Hernandez sees it coming and moves out of range. Stevess misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hernandez seems to have recovered his senses. Hernandez darts in and clinches Stevess up against the cage. Hernandez taking a breather. Stevess fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hernandez will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Stevess up against the cage. Stevess wants to get back to striking at distance but Hernandez won't allow it.

Stevess working hard to break the clinch. A nice left hand lands by Hernandez.
Hernandez is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A short right from Hernandez on the inside. Hernandez makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Stevess looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hernandez lands with a short shot to the head. Hernandez works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Hernandez lands a hook to the side of the head. Stevess is trying to push Hernandez away but Hernandez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Stevess tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hernandez just stands there and leans against the cage. Hernandez is pushing Stevess up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Stevess working hard to break the clinch. Nice body punch from Hernandez - that landed with a thud.
Stevess is trying to break free. A short right hand to the side of the head by Hernandez. Stevess successfully pulls guard.
Hernandez's corner is telling him to maintain position. Hernandez prevents Stevess from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hernandez controls from within his opponent's guard. Hernandez throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevess wants to get back to his feet but Hernandez is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stevess swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Javier Hernandez. Stevess instigates a clinch. Hernandez pressing his opponent against the cage. Stevess lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Hernandez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stevess's efforts to push away. Still in the clinch, Hernandez scores with a nice short uppercut. Hernandez manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hernandez receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hernandez continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Hernandez pushes Stevess back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Hernandez avoiding damage.
Stevess looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hernandez lands on the inside with an uppercut. A bit of stalling here from Hernandez.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Javier Hernandez. Hernandez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hernandez jabs Stevess right on the nose. Stevess blinks but takes it well. A jab from Hernandez does it's job there. Stevess swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stevess moves into range and clinches up with Hernandez. Hernandez is stalling here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Good body shot from Hernandez.
Come on Hernandez - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Nice body punch from Hernandez. Hernandez dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Javier Hernandez. Hernandez misses with a lunging right hand
and Stevess counters with a lovely straight right hand! Stevess throws a right hand that misses
and Hernandez counters with a right hand to the body. Hernandez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stevess stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Stevess closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Stevess's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hernandez misses with a left hand and Stevess counters with a left and a right... And another left! Hernandez is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scuba Stevess!
