Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Whitecoat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitecoat has chosen Seven Nation Army as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Axe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Axel Whitecoat! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Axe slips a jab and a cross from Whitecoat.
Whitecoat tries to clinch up but Axe circles away and keeps his distance. Whitecoat gets the takedown into side control. Whitecoat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Axe keeps working. Whitecoat creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Whitecoat throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Whitecoat is trying to get an arm triangle but Axe is defending well. Whitecoat wants to lay and pray for a moment but Axe keeps working. Whitecoat working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Axe is looking to reverse the position. Axe dodges the ground and pound from Whitecoat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Axe is looking to regain half guard here but Whitecoat keeps moving and retains side control. Axe on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Axe tries to get out of the position. Whitecoat cracks Axe with a big right hand but Axe just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Axe tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Axe can't do much from the bottom here. Axe is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Axe is being controlled here. Whitecoat tries to score with some ground and pound. Axe controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Whitecoat wants to control but Axe is keeping him busy. You can see the frustration on Axe's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Whitecoat tries for a kimura but Axe is defending well. Whitecoat trying to control the position but Axe is working away. Axe dodges the ground and pound from Whitecoat. Whitecoat working the ground and pound but Axe is defending the strikes. Whitecoat is looking to take a break and control but Axe is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Whitecoat working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Axe is looking for a sweep. Whitecoat working the ground and pound. Whitecoat throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Whitecoat postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Whitecoat stands up and we're back to a striking position. Whitecoat swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Whitecoat lands with a cross. Whitecoat misses with a double jab.
Axe feints a jab promting Whitecoat to slip. Axe then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Whitecoat slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Axe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Whitecoat moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sam Axe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Axe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Whitecoat.
Whitecoat throws a hook but Axe blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Axe misses. Left hook, right uppercut from Whitecoat. Axe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Axe throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Axe misses with a shot to the body and Whitecoat counters with a one-two to the body. Whitecoat takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Whitecoat connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Axe misses with a double jab.
Axe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Whitecoat shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Whitecoat throws a right and a left that both miss. Axe cracks Whitecoat with a right hand to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Axe scores with a jab to the head.
Axe tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Axe connects with a single shot there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The fight moves into the clinch position. Whitecoat breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Whitecoat tries to clinch up. Whitecoat takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Axel Whitecoat dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Whitecoat fails in his attempt to clinch. Axe getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Axe swings for the body but Whitecoat moves out of range.
Whitecoat fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A left lands for Axe. Whitecoat has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Whitecoat there as he acknowledges the shot. Axe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Whitecoat lands with a cross. The crowd cheers as Axe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Whitecoat doesn't seem phased though. Axe is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Axe lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Axe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Axe lands a really nice looking cross but Whitecoat seems unphased.
Axe ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Axe lands a big right hand that sends Whitecoat crashing to the mat! Axe stays standing though and waves Whitecoat back to his feet!
Whitecoat is rocked! Axe cracks Whitecoat's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Whitecoat slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Axe can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Axe!
