Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armando Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stjepan Boksic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vega wants it to stay on the feet.
Boksic shoots in but Vega avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Boksic takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vega tests Boksic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boksic looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vega is fending him off so far but Boksic persists. Nope, Vega circles away and we're back to standing.
Armando Vega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stjepan Boksic.
Vega throws a series of strikes that have Boksic backpedaling.
It looks like Stjepan Boksic has been cut.
Vega drops Boksic with a beautiful combination! Boksic stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vega is looking for the KO!
Boksic is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boksic moves to clinch but Vega breaks away
and Vega counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Boksic badly! He tries to strike back but Vega puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Boksic out cold! Oh man, Boksic will never hear the end of this one!
