Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Master Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Pickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kush's entrance music is I Wanna Get High. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Pickens's choice of entrance music: Fresh Amiz-Bow Wow. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kush looks to clinch and Pickens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kush thows a leg kick but Pickens checks it and Pickens counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kush wants to clinch but Pickens slips to the side and Pickens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kush throws an off balance right hand
and Pickens counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kush misses with an uppercut
and Pickens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pickens thuds his right hand into Kush's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Pickens connects with a looping right hand.
Kush throws a sloppy head kick letting Pickens counter with a right hand. Kush misses with a lunging right hand
and Pickens counters with a good low kick that Kush was not able to check. Kush throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Pickens counter with a right hand. Jab from Pickens. Kush clinches with his opponent.
Kush is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Pickens misses with a short punch on the inside. Pickens swings away with an uppercut that misses.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Master Kush is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kush tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pickens paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kush throws an off balance right hand
and Pickens makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kush throws a lazy uppercut
and Pickens connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

and Pickens counters with a stiff right hand. Kush wants to clinch but Pickens slips to the side and Pickens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kush is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Kush throws a sloppy head kick and Pickens counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A low kick from Pickens is predictable there and Kush moves into the clinch. Pickens wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kush has him pressed against the cage. Knees to the body from Kush.
Kush is struggling to control the position. Kush lands an elbow just above Pickens 's eye. Pickens swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pickens wants to break free but Kush has control.
Kush pushes off an throws an elbow but Pickens leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Pickens is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Kush's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. A nice glancing elbow lands by Pickens. Pickens misses with a punch on the inside.

Pickens scores with a hook to the body. Pickens is trying to break the clinch but Kush is controlling him. Kush lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Pickens has a couple of punches blocked by Kush.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kush has Pickens pressed against the cage, preventing Pickens from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kush creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pickens's defenses. Kush throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kush working some nice short punches in the clinch. Pickens lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kush backwards. Kush lands an elbow inside that Pickens shrugs off. Kush landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kush scores with a nice hook to the head. Nice elbow from Kush. A nice glancing elbow lands by Kush. Pickens has a couple of punches blocked by Kush.

Pickens tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Pickens throws a punch but it's blocked by Kush. Pickens tries to work over Kush's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kush lands an elbow inside. Pickens wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kush has him pressed against the cage. Nice elbow from Kush. Kush wants the takedown. Pickens is fighting it off but Kush persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pickens's guard against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kush is looking to work some ground and pound but Pickens has wrist control. Pickens wants to stand and escape but Kush is having none of it. Pickens looks gassed! Kush trying to control but Pickens is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kush pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pickens is keeping the position for now. Kush trying to control the position from guard on top but Pickens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kush knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pickens on the ground. Kush drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pickens manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kush has Pickens in his guard. Kush controlling the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kush keeping moving, preventing Pickens from controlling successfully. Kush is pulling down on Pickens's head to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Master Kush will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. The fighters circling - Pickens throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kush misses with a left hand and Pickens counters with a stiff right hand. Pickens looks to land a right hand but Kush moved out of range. Kush tries to clinch up. Kush throws a poor cross that misses
and Pickens counters with a nice uppercut. Kush looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Kush throws a head kick that Pickens semi-blocks.
Master Kush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good shot there by Pickens. Kush tries to clinch but Pickens moves out of range. Kush tries to clinch up but Pickens circles away and keeps his distance. Kush tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pickens counters with a straight right hand. Kush throws a right hand that misses

Kush is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kush throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Pickens tumbling to the canvas!
Pickens is rocked!
It looks like Cody Pickens has been cut. Pickens preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pickens is still in real trouble! Can Kush finish him? Kush postures up and lands a big shot to Pickens's brow. Pickens is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Pickens had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kush defends it easily. Pickens seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kush postures up in Pickens's guard and throws a big left but Pickens blocks it. Kush throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pickens works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Pickens manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kush manages to get himself to full guard.
Pickens with a flurry of punches that miss. Pickens passes Kush's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kush wants to control but Pickens is keeping busy.
Kush is concentrating on defense, preventing Pickens from advancing position. Pickens controlling the action here. Kush is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kush trying to hold on to Pickens's head to control him but Pickens postures up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Pickens frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pickens wants to control the pace but Kush is squirming around nicely. Kush wants to control but Pickens is having none of it. Pickens content just to control the position here. Kush tries to hold on but Pickens pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kush is looking to improve his position but Pickens isn't that keen on the idea. Pickens controlling the pace for now. Pickens misses with a head shot. Pickens prevents Kush from getting the reversal. Pickens throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kush because Pickens loaded up on that one. Pickens takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kush avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pickens.
Pickens throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Master Kush dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Cody Pickens's cut. That's time! Kush's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kush throws a sloppy head kick and Pickens counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kush on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pickens. Pickens obviously looking to wear him down.
Kush tries to clinch but fails miserably and Pickens counters with a stiff right hand. Kush throws a sloppy head kick and Pickens counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kush thinking. Kush throws a head kick that misses and Pickens counters with a lovely straight right hand! Pickens circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pickens is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cody Pickens seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kush closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Pickens smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Kush with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pickens to score with a decent uppercut. Kush tries to clinch up. Kush has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kush there as he acknowledges the shot. Kush tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pickens manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Cody Pickens has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Pickens cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A jab lands there for Pickens. Kush throws a lazy uppercut

Kush tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pickens counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kush scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pickens takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. This has been an exciting period of action! Kush cracks Pickens with an open hand slap. Kush slaps away a takedown attempt from Pickens, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kush takes the fight into the clinch. Kush's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
