Rua's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, drop the world. Inoue has chosen Viikate - Viina, terva & hauta as his entrance music. Rickson Rua had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rickson Rua! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yuya Inoue! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua throws a combination that misses and Inoue counters with a series of strikes that sends Rua to the canvas! Inoue follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight! Rua keeping full guard, as Inoue tries to pass. Inoue trying to control but Rua is working from the bottom. Inoue is stalling in the full guard. Inoue is looking to work some ground and pound but Rua has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Yuya Inoue was stalling too much, according to the referee. Rua misses with a combination
and Inoue counters by clinching up. Inoue breaks the clinch.
Nice takedown defense from Rua. No joy for Inoue on that attempt. Rua swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Inoue holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rua dodges an elbow strike from Inoue.

Rua misses with a double jab
and Inoue counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rua won't be happy with that. Rua tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Inoue controlling his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inoue is working for a guillotine from mount but Rua frees his head quite easily.
Inoue thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is squirming around, avoiding Inoue's attempts to control the action. Rua bucks Inoue off and manages to get back to his feet! Rua misses with a double jab
and Inoue decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rua's guard. Rua pushes Inoue off and gets back to his feet.

and Inoue counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Inoue. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rua preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Inoue looking to pass the guard. Inoue slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rua wants to get back to his feet but Inoue is in a dominant position and won't allow it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

and Inoue counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Inoue has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rua defend it? Inoue steps over the head and cranks it - Rua is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Inoue!
