The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones looks to land a body kick but Alexander moved away.
Alexander lands a nice hook to Jones's body. Jones takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Alexander throws a right hand that misses
and Jones counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Jones with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Alexander to score with a decent uppercut.
Alexander tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Alexander misses with a body shot
and Jones makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Alexander throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.

and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Jones counters with a nice uppercut.
Alexander throws a right hand that misses
and Jones counters with a slapping leg kick.
Jones scores with the left hand. Alexander knows he should have avoided that one.

Alexander stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones.

Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Alexander throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Alexander.

Alexander throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.

Alexander's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jones under the eye.
Alexander misses with a wild body shot.
Alexander moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Alexander misses with a left hand
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
