Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walter Schulze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schulze misses with a double jab.
Schulze misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Schulze.
Schulze avoids a punch combination nicely.

Schulze throws a right hand that Jones ducks under and follows up with a left that Jones also avoids with ease. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Schulze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Schulze looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Schulze persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Schulze feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Schulze changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Schulze looking to pass the guard. Schulze wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Schulze postures up.

Schulze trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Schulze preventing the sweep. Schulze trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Schulze can't break the clinch.
Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones fails to land the takedown. Schulze throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Schulze is breathing heavily. Schulze drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jones wants to sweep here but Schulze controlling him for the moment. Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Schulze passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard. Schulze is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schulze. Schulze is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulze is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. Schulze is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Schulze wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Schulze working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Schulze works his way into full mount! Jones has given up his back.
