Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jenz Puzicho Mazud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zartan Zatarain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zatarain has chosen Linkin Park - The Catalyst as his entrance music. Zartan Zatarain is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zatarain throws a shot from downtown. Mazud moves away and avoids it.
Jenz Puzicho Mazud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mazud wants to clinch
and Zatarain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zatarain controlling the pace.
Zatarain working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zatarain connects with a nice short shot to Mazud's temple.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zatarain lands a nice short elbow.

Zatarain looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mazud with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zatarain cracks Mazud with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Zatarain immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mazud is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Zatarain!
