Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Fitzwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wallace Weasel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitzwell comes to the cage accompanied by RATM - Killing in The Name. Weasel has chosen Suck My Kiss as his entrance music. Richard Fitzwell had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weasel throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fitzwell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weasel swivels and escapes.
Weasel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fitzwell throws a right hand that misses
and Weasel counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Weasel delivers a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Weasel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fitzwell is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Wallace Weasel.

Fitzwell throws a series of punches but Weasel avoids them all with ease.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

It looks like Wallace Weasel has been cut.
Weasel throws a head kick but Fitzwell moves out of range.

and Fitzwell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fitzwell throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Weasel counters with an outside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab from Fitzwell finds it's way through Weasel's defenses.

Weasel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Weasel just misses with a punch to the body.
Weasel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Weasel there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fitzwell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Weasel tries to avoid it but Fitzwell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Weasel to the ground. Weasel escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Weasel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fitzwell.

and Fitzwell counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That has opened up Wallace Weasel's cut even more.

Weasel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Weasel takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Wallace Weasel's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
