Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Fitts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitts comes to the cage accompanied by Alice In Chains - No Excuses. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitts misses with a leg kick.
Johnson misses with a takedown attempt - Fitts sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fitts stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitts wants it to stay on the feet.
Fitts lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Johnson misses with a two punch combination.

and Fitts counters with an inside leg kick.

and Fitts counters with an inside leg kick.

and Fitts counters with a nice uppercut.
Fitts moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Johnson looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fitts throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.

and Fitts connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ricky Fitts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Johnson.
Fitts scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fitts lands a leg kick that knocks Johnson off balance momentarily.
Fitts lands with a big left! Johnson is wobbled badly! Fitts comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Johnson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
