Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Little John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John's entrance music is its a fight. A fine choice. Gordon has chosen Last resort as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Little John! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Grant Gordon! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gordon looking for a takedown here - he's got it. John has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gordon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. John looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gordon looking to sit in guard and control but John gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. John has gone for a leg lock! Gordon slips out almost immediately though and dives into John's guard. Gordon wants to control from the top but John keeps moving. Gordon would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. John keeping full guard, as Gordon tries to pass. John looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gordon looking to pass the guard. Gordon trying to control the position from guard on top but John is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. John looking for a guillotine here but Gordon defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gordon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. John is keeping the position for now. Gordon must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gordon got a little sloppy there for a moment and John has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gordon has managed to get both his arms back between John's legs - danger averted. Gordon trying to control the position from guard on top but John is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gordon pushes down on John's leg and manages to get into half guard. Gordon wants to lay and pray for a moment but John keeps working. John really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gordon works his way into side control. Gordon stands up. Gordon moves in looking to clinch but John pushes him off. John shoots and misses and Gordon counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gordon trying to control but John is working from the bottom. John throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. John throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
John is looking for a triangle but Gordon pushes his legs off easily.
Gordon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. This has been an exciting period of action! John gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gordon controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Grant Gordon will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Gordon shoots in and bounces John off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Gordon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. John keeping moving, preventing Gordon from controlling successfully. Gordon content to stall in guard here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Grant Gordon hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Gordon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gordon is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. John is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Gordon has his hands clasped together but John extends an breaks Gordon's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by John.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Little John!
