Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mor Onfollow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Pharaoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mor Onfollow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Pharaoh! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pharaoh throws a low kick, looking for Onfollow's leg but Onfollow calmly moves out of range. Pharaoh closes the distance looking to clinch and Onfollow counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pharaoh won't be happy with that. Pharaoh is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Onfollow's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Pharaoh is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Onfollow pulls his head out easily. Pharaoh is looking to improve his position.
Pharaoh looking for a kimura from the bottom but Onfollow passes into side control! Pharaoh tries to get back to half guard but can't. Onfollow stands up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pharaoh with a poor takedown and Onfollow counters with a nice double leg into guard. Pharaoh has his foot on Onfollow's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Onfollow works his way back into a safe position though. Pharaoh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Onfollow decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pharaoh, up you get! Pharaoh throws a head kick that misses and Onfollow counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Pharaoh looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pharaoh looks to clinch and Onfollow counters with a straight right hand. Pharaoh lets loose with a powerful body kick. Onfollow will feel that in the morning. Onfollow bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Pharaoh sneaks back into half guard. Pharaoh is looking to improve his position.
Onfollow is keen to just control but Pharaoh is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pharaoh wants to get back to full guard. Onfollow decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Pharaoh throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Onfollow counters with a series of strikes that sends Pharaoh to the canvas! Onfollow follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Pharaoh is rocked! Onfollow is looking to stand up but Pharaoh won't let him. Pharaoh escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Onfollow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Onfollow stands up and waves to Pharaoh to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pharaoh gets caught napping as Onfollow dives in and scores a takedown. Pharaoh manages to retain guard. Onfollow trying to control but Pharaoh is working from the bottom. Pharaoh working for submissions but it's allowed Onfollow to get to half guard.
Onfollow is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pharaoh wants to improve his position but Onfollow is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pharaoh looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Onfollow stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Pharaoh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Onfollow misses the jab. Onfollow feints and as Pharaoh raises his hands in defense, Onfollow changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Onfollow wants to stand but Pharaoh is controlling his posture from full guard. Onfollow looking to control the position here, rather than advance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mor Onfollow dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Onfollow throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pharaoh was covering up waiting for the punch and Onfollow finishes the takedown easily into guard. Pharaoh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Onfollow is one step ahead there. Pharaoh is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Onfollow avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Onfollow wants to stand but Pharaoh is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pharaoh is looking for a triangle but Onfollow pushes his legs off easily.
Onfollow looking to pass the guard. Onfollow gets to his feet - Pharaoh follows without any prompting. Pharaoh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Onfollow looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Pharaoh is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pharaoh is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Onfollow stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Pharaoh to get to his feet. Onfollow throws a sloppy head kick and Pharaoh moves out of range easily. Pharaoh takes a swing at Onfollow's ribcage but misses. Onfollow blocks a head kick by Pharaoh.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pharaoh checks a leg kick. Pharaoh uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Onfollow. Onfollow darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pharaoh wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pharaoh is looking to get back to full guard here but Onfollow has managed to pass to side control instead. Pharaoh tries to improve position but can't. Onfollow is looking to take a break and control but Pharaoh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Onfollow stands up and we're back to a striking position. Onfollow is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pharaoh can do to turn this around? Pharaoh defending well as Onfollow loads up on a big left hand. Pharaoh is looking to slow Onfollow down with leg kicks. Onfollow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pharaoh looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pharaoh gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Pharaoh tries to get to full guard but Onfollow has control of the leg. Pharaoh gets back to full guard.
Onfollow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pharaoh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Onfollow has managed to get both his arms back between Pharaoh's legs - danger averted. Onfollow stands up from guard. Let's bang! A nice leg kick lands there from Pharaoh. Onfollow throws a sloppy head kick and Pharaoh counters with a nice double leg into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mor Onfollow dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Onfollow swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Pharaoh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Pharaoh misses with a kick to the body so Onfollow counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Onfollow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Pharaoh is looking for a triangle but Onfollow pushes his legs off easily.
Pharaoh looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pharaoh bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Onfollow's guard. Onfollow wants to stand up but Pharaoh is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pharaoh trying to control the position from guard on top but Onfollow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pharaoh is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Onfollow wants to stand up but Pharaoh is controlling him. Onfollow working for a triangle but Pharaoh defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Pharaoh wants to control from the top but Onfollow keeps moving. Pharaoh is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Onfollow is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Onfollow has escaped and now he's on top! Onfollow stands up from guard. Let's bang! Steve Pharaoh has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pharaoh misses with a wild combination.
Pharaoh tries to clinch up but Onfollow circles away and keeps his distance. Pharaoh rushes Onfollow and presses him up against the cage. Onfollow tightens his grip and picks Pharaoh up, before dumping him to the ground. Pharaoh manages to land in guard. Mor Onfollow is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Onfollow wants to control from the top but Pharaoh keeps moving. Mor Onfollow overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pharaoh looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Onfollow puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Pharaoh looking for submissions off his back. Onfollow decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Onfollow darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Onfollow tries to stand but can't do so whilst Pharaoh controls his leg. Pharaoh looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Onfollow prevents Pharaoh from improving his position. Pharaoh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Mor Onfollow showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Onfollow, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
