Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitch Rapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mike Hull has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Hull seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hull lands with a thumping leg kick.
Rapp doesn't manage to clinch there - Hull circles away.
Hull throws a push kick but Rapp slaps the foot to one side.

Rapp moves into the clinch successfully.
Rapp throws an elbow but it misses.
A head punch on the inside from Rapp fails to land.
Rapp lands an elbow inside that Hull shrugs off.
Hull takes an elbow to the forehead.

Hull manages to break the clinch.
Hull swats away the attempt to clinch by Rapp.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hull lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rapp has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rapp and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hull tries a head kick but it misses.
Hull misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hull stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hull wants it to stay on the feet.
Hull throws a low kick but Rapp avoids it.
Rapp takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hull tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Rapp blocks a head kick by Hull.
Hull throws a leg kick but Rapp moved away.
Rapp tries to clinch up but Hull circles away and keeps his distance.

and Hull counters with a big head kick but Rapp shrugs it off.

Rapp tries to bum rush Hull with a series of wild strikes but Hull uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mike Hull is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Rapp fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hull, pushing him back against the cage.

Hull blocks an elbow strike from Rapp.
Rapp pushes Hull back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rapp misses with an elbow over the top.
Rapp pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Hull blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Rapp swings wildly with an uppercut but Hull uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hull avoids a wild elbow strike from Rapp.
Hull tries to break free but Rapp pushes him back against the cage.
Rapp lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Rapp is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hull is defending well for now.
Rapp throws an elbow that misses.
Rapp misses with an elbow strike.
Rapp lands a nice elbow.
Hull looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rapp throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Hull will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hull's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Rapp avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Some bone on bone action there as Rapp checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hull throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hull takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hull connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rapp takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


It looks like Mitch Rapp has been cut.
Hull tries to land a leg kick but Rapp saw it coming and moves away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hull.

Rapp has Hull up against the cage in a clinch.

A shot in the inside from Rapp.
Hull takes an elbow to the temple.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rapp.

Rapp throws an elbow that misses.

Hull breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hull finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rapp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hull moves out of range of the body kick.

and Hull counters with a body kick that stops Rapp in his tracks momentarily.

Rapp tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hull wants to land a leg kick but Rapp is out of range.
Hull plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Hull misses with a low kick.
Rapp scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
This has been an exciting period of action!
A head kick from Hull lands but Rapp takes it in his stride.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rapp pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hull does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Rapp's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Hull moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rapp tries to close the distance and clinch but Hull swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rapp looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rapp throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hull counters with a low kick, right behind Rapp 's knee.
Rapp on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hull. Hull obviously looking to wear him down.
A clash of legs there as Rapp blocks the low kick.
Rapp looks to throw a body kick
and Hull counters with a big head kick but Rapp shrugs it off.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hull, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
