The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redhair has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gambroni.
Gambroni shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Redhair defends it nicely.

so Gambroni counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Gambroni goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Redhair turns into him and now he's in Gambroni's guard.

Gambroni takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Redhair throws a hook to the side of Gambroni's head but Gambroni sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Redhair takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Gambroni shoots in looking for a takedown but Redhair manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gambroni's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Gambroni counters with a straight right hand.
Gambroni dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Redhair. That did some damage!
Redhair throws a lazy uppercut
and Gambroni counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Gambroni shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Redhair manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gambroni connects with a nice short shot to Redhair's temple.
Redhair gets back to full guard.
Redhair wants to stand and escape but Gambroni is having none of it.
