Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Turnbuckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackie Gleason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackie Gleason told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gleason scores with a jab. Turnbuckle acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Turnbuckle shoots for a takedown but Gleason saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Turnbuckle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Turnbuckle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Turnbuckle manages to capitalize on a mistake by Gleason to take his back!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gleason clinches up against the cage.
Gleason wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Gleason is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Turnbuckle gets his way!

Turnbuckle has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gleason has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
