Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Doc Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Lundblad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Lunatic Fringe by Red Ryder. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundblad throws a leg kick that is checked
and Thomas counters with a nice body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Thomas misses the target.
A head kick by Lundblad misses
and Thomas counters with an inside leg kick.
Thomas tries to clinch but Lundblad is having none of it.
Thomas scores a takedown into full mount!

It looks like Martin Lundblad has been cut.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lundblad can do anything to dispel that myth.

A big strike lands for Thomas! That's really hurt Lundblad and he's turned his back - Thomas keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Thomas jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
