Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drewnski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Shurk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drewnski's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MOSKAU-RAMMSTEIN. Shurk is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Achy Breaky Heart. Shawn Shurk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Shurk!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drewnski misses with a series of wild punches.
Drewnski lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Shurk shoots in for a double leg but Drewnski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Drewnski counters with a three punch combo that has Shurk backing up. Shurk nods at Drewnski to acknowledge the strikes.
Shurk shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Drewnski as he avoids it easily.

Shurk shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Drewnski sprawls well. Drewnski wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shurk gets slowly back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shurk is keen to just control but Drewnski is a slippery customer.
Oh Drewnski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Drewnski seems to have got his legs back now.
Shurk looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Drewnski with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
