Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zorrito Falcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Jowskovitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zorrito Falcon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johnny Jowskovitch!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jowskovitch gets a takedown into half guard.
Falcon tries to get to full guard but Jowskovitch has control of the leg.
Falcon tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Falcon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Falcon.

Falcon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Falcon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jowskovitch's guard.
Jowskovitch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Falcon.
Falcon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Falcon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Falcon tries to free his leg and advance position but Jowskovitch is retaining full guard.
Falcon is looking to work some ground and pound but Jowskovitch has wrist control.
Falcon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Falcon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Falcon lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Falcon thows a big elbow that misses.
Falcon with a flurry of punches that miss.

Jowskovitch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Falcon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Falcon slips nicely into half guard.
Falcon works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Falcon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Falcon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jowskovitch's face.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jowskovitch is in a horrible position here. Falcon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Falcon lands a big elbow.

Jowskovitch wants to hold on but Falcon pushes him away.
Falcon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Jowskovitch should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Falcon is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Falcon!
