Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Osbourne Ruddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Longfellow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruddock comes to the cage accompanied by Mighty Dread. Longfellow has chosen Dropping Plates as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Longfellow misses
and Ruddock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Longfellow tries for a takedown but Ruddock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Longfellow closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Longfellow shoots in looking for a takedown. Ruddock tries to sprawl out of it but Longfellow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ruddock manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Longfellow drops his hands momentarily and Ruddock takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Longfellow with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ruddock to score with a decent uppercut.
Ruddock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Longfellow, pushing him back against the cage.
Longfellow jumps guard but Ruddock stands there with Longfellow around his waist. Longfellow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Longfellow takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Longfellow has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Ruddock.
Ruddock scores with a head kick. Longfellow tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Luke Longfellow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruddock has Longfellow up against the cage in a clinch.
Ruddock ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ruddock no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Oh but Ruddock is tightening it up a little... Longfellow has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Longfellow reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Longfellow taps out! nice BJJ there by Ruddock!
