PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Raul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin has chosen King of Kings by Motorhead as his entrance music. King Marvin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Marvin enables Sanchez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marvin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Marvin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Marvin tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Sanchez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marvin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Raul Sanchez will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

King Marvin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Raul Sanchez dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Raul Sanchez will probably get the nod.

King Marvin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
