The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nub looks to throw the jab but Rockne is out of range.
Nub misses with a takedown
and Rockne counters with a head kick that drops Nub to the mat! Nub scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Nub is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rockne's half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nub wants to work for an arm triangle but Rockne is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
