PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kimo Leonardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volk Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leonardo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Amazing. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonardo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Khan on the side of the head.
Leonardo moves out of range as Khan throws a body kick.
Khan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Leonardo misses with a body shot.
Leonardo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Khan throws a solid leg kick but Leonardo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Khan.
Nice uppercut lands for Khan. That snapped Leonardo's head back.
Khan looks to land a combination but Leonardo avoids it well.

Khan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leonardo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Leonardo throws a one two combo.
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Leonardo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Leonardo does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kimo Leonardo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Leonardo's waist but Leonardo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Khan off to one side.
Leonardo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Khan circles away quickly and effectively.
Leonardo swings for the body but Khan moves out of range.
Leonardo throws a series of punches but Khan moves out of range.
Leonardo misses with a double jab.
Some wild striking there from Leonardo.
Khan connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Leonardo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Leonardo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Khan manages to avoid it.
Khan looks to score with a jab to the body but Leonardo is just out of range.
Khan throws out a leg kick but Leonardo moves out of range and Khan only half commits.
Khan throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Khan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Leonardo was covering up waiting for the punch and Khan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
